IPL 2024 Player Auction list announced: IPL 2024 will kick off from March next year. As many as 173 players from the franchise took part in IPL 2024 ahead of the mini-auction which is to be conducted on December 19th, this year.
The purse limit for each team in the IPL 2024 is now greater than before, making a total purse value of ₹100 crore (~ US $ 12 million). Twenty-nineteen players have been retained by Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad for their squads respectively. At the same time, Kolkata Knight Riders retained 13 players. The total cost of maintaining the 173 players was ₹? Crore.

- Wanindu Hasaranga: The Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is an actual match-winner, and he may be the moneymaker for a team in the IPL.
- Lockie Ferguson: The New Zealand fast bowler is one of the fastest in the world, and he would give any attack a serious boost.
- Shardul Thakur: The Indian all-rounder has been playing well of late, and might be attractive to teams looking for someone who can bat and bowl a bit.
